The Kamogelo Centre was developed after extensive discussions to identify the needs and project feasibility of expanding the tourism infrastructure in the Lowveld region. This resulted in inputs from various role players in the Hoedspruit district to establish a comprehensive network of services in promoting tourism to our region. The objective is to provide a single operating centre for all the functions of development, services, marketing and community upliftment in our area.
With twenty eight shops and a unique East African architecture, the Kamogelo Center is able to cater for an enjoyable visit through various activities and a wide variety of products. The project is poised to cater for locals and visitors alike, by means of services and activities, and encourages entrepreneurship to the various functions catered for.
Kamogelo Centre has become an icon in the region and sets an example for what can be achieved if people stand together.
